The Impossible

During the 18 months I worked in preproduction of "The Impossible" I did hundreds f concept drawings, sketches, photo retouchings, etc... J. A. Bayona's movie will be released during 2012 and until then I can't publish here those illustrations These three were published in some media some time ago and are the only ones I can show here.

Sci-Fi

I'm working again with Academy Award winner Eugenio Caballero, this time in a Sci-Fi movie. Sci-Fi is my favourite genre, but unfortunately not many Sci-Fi movies are produced in Spain. This is in fact an american movie. Working with Eugenio again is amazing!!! I will post more info about this movie soon.

I've recently worked in the third part of REC, the famous zombie movie from Spain. Although I can't still publish the work I've don for the movie I've found in my hard drive an older illustration of a Zombie, so I think it's a good time to put it here.

Some time ago I designed a robot for a commercial. The robot had to have a funny design, nothing very sophisticated and it needed to have the space to accomodate a person inside since it wasn't going to be CG.

My second solo CD has just been released by UK music lable Floating World. It comes with a 24 page booklet with some of my artwork, texts and lyrics. Some of the musicians that collaborate with me on this CD are Scott Thunes, Ed Mann, Robert Martin and Don Preston (all Zappa musicians from different eras) + Mike Garson and Reeves Gabrels (from the David Bowie band) + Marco Minnemann (Paul Gilbert, UKZ) + Geoff Tyson (T-Ride).

REC 3

I had the pleasure of working in the third part of REC. REC 1 and 2 were among my favorite zombie movies. Working with Paco Plaza has been an amazing experience, since I'm a huge fan of his movies.

Biutiful

Biutiful has received two Academy Awards nominations, one for best foreign language film and of course the well deserved best actor nomination for Javier Bardem. In my opinion it's a shame that the movie is not nominated for best picture.

I worked as concept artist in Biutiful with Academy Award winner P.D. Brigitte Broch.
